Advisory and conciliation service Acas has published guidance setting out the issues for employers embarking on a job evaluation scheme in the light of increasing equal pay claims.

The guidance sets out: what job evaluation is; why employers should consider carrying out job evaluation; and how employers can prepare for a job evaluation exercise.
